Braggin' Rights at State
Congratulations to Abigail Turner for placing 1st place in the State Qualifier Zone 8 Championships! She also placed 1st in the State USA Girl's 12 and Under tournament! Wow! RIMS County Science Fair
Over Spring Break multiple students from Acacia Middle School attending the RIMS County Science Fair competition held in both San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. A great day of science competition took place with many opportunities for learning! Our students were amazing and had a wonderful time! Congratulations on our Silver Medalists - Nathan Rhoades, Douglas Jindra, Emilia Pereda, and Selena Santanen! Congratulations to our Bronze Medalists - Bobbie Rivers, Adam Kahn, and Jared Schlenker!

Congratulations to Sergio Sanchez, 7th grade student at Acacia Middle School for his dynamic performance at the 2013 USAT Nevada State Championships in Cadet Sparring! Wrestle Mania!
Congratulations to Sean Rhoades, student at Acacia Middle School, for placing in a recent State Championships Wrestling Tournament! Sean took home 7th place honors in his weight class! Miss Teen Inland Empire Pageant
This weekend two Acacia Middle School Students will be representing themselves and their families in the Miss Teeen Inland Empire Pageant at the Fox Theaer located in Redlands, CA. We wish them well as they progress through the pageant...they could ultimately be Miss Teen California! Here's a tidbit of one of the girl's talents! Good luck Britanny Lara and Bobbie Rivers!
District Art Competition
Two Acacia Middle School students brought home 1st and 3rd place honors in a District Art Competition on Drug Awareness. We are very proud of them! Congratulations!
Science Fair!
Acacia Middle School has multiple projects moving on to the upcoming RIMS Science Fair Competition during the week for Spring Break! 4 projects (the most in the district) are moving on! We are proud of our scientists and wish them well on their journey to the county competition!
Acacia Middle School Thanks Eagle Scout Candidate - Justin Midgely
Acacia Middle School would like to extend a warm "thank you" to Eagle Scout Candidate Justin Midgely of Boy Scouts of America Troop 308 for making A.M.S. the recipient of his coordinated efforts revolving around his Eagle Scout Project. Justin worked diligently in procuring over 620 books and $800 in donations for our library. This was an amazing effort on his part! His leadership and dedication to excellence will not only help him earn the highest award in Boy Scouts (Eagle) but will leave a lasting impression on the minds of middle school aged students through the gift of reading. Thank you Justin!
Up and Atom Challenge!
What do a group of like minded science students do on Friday afternoons? Create a rocket launcher complete with paintball tips perfect for splatting of course! Congratulations to our Up and Atom Team for representing themselves, their families, and our school at this recent District event! Three of our Cougars teamed up to design, build, and launch rockets at a target measuring 10 meters away. Great showing! We are proud of you! Thank you Mr. Grubb for being the team coach!
Great Job Spellers! - The Acacia Bee:
The Acacia Middle School Spelling Bee took place on Wednesday the 9th of January. A.M.S. is very proud of every participant! We are especially supportive of our three winners: 3rd place = Precious Hayes, 2nd Place = Delauren Grant, and our Champion = Destiny Kiefer! Our top two participants will be representing Acacia at the District Bee on January 29th at the District Office! Thank you for representing yourselves, your families, and our school with so much PRIDE!
Acacia Cougar Brings Home 1st Place Honors!
Congratulations goes out to River Islas for representing himself, his family, and his school in the Hemet Christmas Parade. River built a human-propeled pedal car out of PVC piping and decorated it to match the theme of the parade. Pictured below is River, his coach, and his teacher Mr. Grubb. River was honored with a ribon at a recent Hemet City Council Meeting for bringing home first place honors in his division. Congratulations River!
Hemet Christmas Parade!
Out Marching Cougars were out in force during the Hemet Christmas Parade! Phenomenal job Cougars! You represented yourselves, your families, and your school with a ton of Cougar PRIDE! Congratulations to our second entry in the parade! Honors Science Class member, River Islas built a PVC pedal car and entered it into the parade as well! He took home first place honors in the "Non-Motorized" category of the parade! Amazing job River! We are proud of you!!!
